Tanak's onboard still not up so don't know either and he hasen't mentioned it once so probably not. He lost around 18 to Sordo, where do you get 12 from? It's good that they give time back, or else we could have a situation where a team mate could hold another driver up to help his team. Although most of the field are too nice to ever do something like that i think.
Animals and random things like that you can't do anything about usually, holding another driver up is something you can do something about.Last edited by SubaruNorway; 20th May 2017 at 08:51.

Agree, time lost for neuville was coused by other driver going slow. We all know latvalla didn`t do this on purpose, but teams could take disadvantage of this situation. So in that view, correct decision.
Hanging dust is same for everybody. Exept first on road, but that guy is just lucky at that moment

I think there are two aspects of this argument here.
First, is Neuville's compensation fair? I think yes.
However, this should not be decided in such a way.
Stefanvv is right. This should be governed by rules, not by some rally officials.
Fore example, in similar cases the held up driver shoul receive averave time for the stage, or something in that direction.
Almost all Finn's since Paavo Nurmi who are fast in their sport have been called "Flying", particularly the 1960's rally drivers, but I was actually thinking of "Flying Finnish" - the timing line at...
