That's good news for him but he is ina difficult position right now. The car is not that good and the driver.... well... he's got lots to show.

I hope he brings new life to it.
There WAS nothing like rallying, Superrally is a joke!

For sure. Three cars x team and 12 events and WRC again in the top of the sport. Is anybody in FIA listening out there?

The 27-year-old will drive a third Subaru Impreza WRC2007 for the last eight rallies of this year - starting with Rally Finland on August 3-5 - as a precursor to a full campaign in 2008, when the team will continue fielding three cars.

Great news. More bums on seats, more cars to watch out in the stages.
Can only be a good thing.

Anyway, it's great news. I really like to watch inside Pons's car. He and his co-driver Xavier Amigo really knows how to make a verbal fight while driving flat out.

Excellent news for Xevi & the WRC as a whole.

Notice it only says SWRT have an "option" on him till 2009. Does this mean we're going to see an 8 round drive-off between Xevi & Chris?? Winner gets the 2008 drive??
I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception.
