I think there is little doubt that Kronos are trying to get Gardemeister or Al-Qassimi in the second Xsara car for Acropolis. They cannot afford a rally with only one car. It's already a difficult task for them to reach 10 rallies with two cars.

If Kronos doesn't manage the 10 rallies with two cars, does any of you know the penalty? Will they loses all their MT2 points or will they get a fine? - or will they "just" lose the entry for next year?

€225.000 for sure and I think (would be logic for me) they loose their points. Al-Qassimi is driving a Focus. I hope Gardemeister drives for Kronos.
