I don't have a massive objection to alcohol. I do drink sometimes, to the shock of my friends. But the point is, I think it's more harmful than tobacco, so if people are getting all self-righteous about tobacco advertising, it's hypocritical not to do the same for alcohol.
So who is sponsoring Rally Portugal? Vodafone? Or have I massively misunderstood?Give Leon a kick and tell him to get to work!

Honestly, I don't understand why you don't like if alchohol or pharmaceutical companies act as sponsors for rally teams! They just advertise their goods, they bring money to the sport! But nobody makes you buy their products! It's all down to your decision! A clever person will never use drugs, no matter how much AD he watch. But an idiot will try it, even if there's no AD around him at all! C'mon, people, it's silly! I would welcome any company, which would like to sponsor WRC, whatever it produces. They just show themselves, but it's only your choice if you are loyal to those companies. I repeat, no one will make you use what you're not interested in, so why not let them advertise it??

But does a hairloss company or something like Viagra promote a positive image for the WRC?

And I'm against banning tobacco advetising. It's idiotism. If a person wants to smoke, they will buy it, no matter whether he saw ad or not! And if parents are clever, they can explain to a child too, that smoking is bad, so that a child would know the trruth whatever is said in AD. let advertise everething. A smart person will make the right decision anyway, while an idiot will make a mistake even without advertising!

I don't think we can afford to think morally about sponsorship. We need every penny we can get, as I think most of us here knows.
If we are to think morally about it, why not ban Vodafone as because of them teenagers might end up having huge mobile phone bills to pay. Would that do good for the WRC's image? I think not. But you can't think that way, if you did you might aswell ban everything.
Meeke had a big gap to Rossel after stage 3 (20 sec) at stage 4 had a puncture and now the gap to Rossel is just 2 sec Gryazin strangely slow, anybody now why?...
