Conas atá sibh? Long time no see.
Anyway, I'm just popping in to ask a quick question.
I'm a sabbatical, I suppose, from the motorsport for a while as the music has kind of taken over.
And well, I do have a social life you may now believe!

But cutting straight to the point,
my favourite accordion player, Finbarr Dwyer was on the radio a few weeks ago
in an interview with Peter Browne from RTE Radio 1.
During that interview, he mentioned that he was part of rally team during the 80s
I think it might have been around 1988.
He was playing music up until that time when a member of the team was killed.
(maybe a driver, I don't know)
Then he gave up playing for 17 years. He did say "...we had all the best drivers....".
An internet search proved fruitless
so I'm just wondering if any of you knowledgeable forumers might enlighten me
as to what team he may have been part of
any information at all you have in his connection to the world of rallying.

Táim ag tnúth bhúr fhreagraí! (Looking forward to your responses...)

I asked this in the "British & Irish Rallying" section to no avail so maybe some of you guys will know.
