    Rossi to retire in 08???

What are the odds do you think if Rossi does not win the title back next year that he will retire in 08?

Thats what I reckon also. I guess it will also depend on how competitive he will be

It will also be very interesting to see how Kawasaki go in 08... they would have to be the dark horse team at present. I can see big things happening on the horizon at team green in 08.

Agreed...... Ant West has a one year deal, Rossi will not renew his deal with Yamaha irrespective of whether he wins the title in 08.........

He's put pressure on Yamaha recently about their struggles.

I'd like to see him alongside Stoner in Ducati '09 actually. That would be sweet.

Sweeter still would be Casey going over to Yamaha with Jerry Burgess and Rossi moving to Ducati in 09 and then Casey still whoops him.
Now that would be too funny

Except that Casey is signed til 2010 I think...
I like your sentiments though Jet. I think Rossi would be really 50/50 to continue in MotoGP if Yamaha/Michelin put in a performance next year as they have this year. He strikes me as someone who has little patience when things aren't so rosy and I think a change of camp would be on the cards if not complete retirement to try his hand at something else.
This is of course a completely educated opinion based on my extensive knowledge of the man!

I don't think Rossi will retire after 2008.
