Yeah, as much as racing would be very important to him, he is really only a young man with the rest of his life in front of him and after sustaining some very serious injuries from 2 massive crashes within the last 12 months, perhaps this is God's way of saying "slow down"! I would imagine these incidents would put a big question mark in the back of his mind which a racer doesn't need and more importantly, he wouldn't want any more injury that he has to put up with for the rest of his life. At least it's good to hear it's only broken bones and not damaged organs.

The end of a career is nigh but at least Adam Fergusson will leave the sport with the fondest of memories, after all he as a champion!
