    AMA Superbike Championship

    Spies has won the 2007 AMA Superbike Championship.

    Spies won the final race at Laguna with Mladin 2nd and Yates 3rd on the Jordan Suzuki making it an all Suzuki podium.

    Spies, went into the event three points behind Mladin, and took the title just one point ahead

    4. Aaron Yates, Jordan Suzuki (465)

    7. Eric Bostrom Yamaha (362)
    8. Miguel Duhamel, Honda (360)
    9. Jason Disalvo, Yamaha (359)
    10. Roger Hayden, Kawasaki (344)

    Well done to Spies but Mladin deserved it.
    Also, Kawasaki took 1-2 in the supersport with Roger-Lee taking it over teammate Jamie Hacking. Just goes to show their bikes can be good in a decent team.

    Anyone know if spies got any plans to move on from ama now we has won the title two years in a row or is going to hang around as long as mladin?

    I think he has a contract with Yoshimura for 2008 but he did say MotoGP for 2009

    Yer, Spies is doing a few wildcards next year then aiming for a full time ride in 09 with a Schwantz run Suzuki GP team..
    I opened up all the windows..the air is cold, the tub is boiling hot..It's like Sweden, man. Sweden!
