    lap times (super touring vs s2000)

    Any got any idea how the lap times of todays s2000 cars compare with the super tourers of the 90's?

    They are a couple of seconds a lap slower of the latest supertouring cars

    Super Touring sort of lap times
    Brands - 00:46s
    Donington - 01:10s
    Silverstone - 01:22s
    Thruxton - 01:15s

    Super2000

    Brands - 00:49s
    Donington - 01:13s
    Silverstone - 01:28s
    Thruxton - 01:17s

    I think it's going to take a few years till S2000 cars are interesting to watch considering it's been a while since the supertourer cars were ditched and they're still a good deal slower.
    Rule 1 of the forum, always accuse anyone who disagrees with you of bias.I would say that though.
