Photos will explain the WRCfart thing haha.
Team FFART was present at the rally. FFART stands for Foul Fumed Admirers Rally Tour. Our group of guys takes pickled onions with us. Tradition since 1995. Hence the "fart" thing.... haha

    Yeah mate, FFART tours!
Pickled onions raise some eyebrows! People laugh!
They have been eaten by a few WRC drivers over the years, Possum ate our onions every year, he laughed one time when he saw us walking out of a stage and he was at time control. We asked him if he wanted one and he said "yeah of course" so each year we made sure we caught up with him and he sampled our pickled onion brew.

Tommi Makinen was another who has eaten them and gave the seal of approval! Famous onions Matt! This years brew were good also! We were being propelled along by methane gas but was great! Easy way to clear a spectating area in a crowded corner!

    Shakedown Video

Just finished my video from Shakedown. Take a look.

    http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=RzfLAwPYldo

What a great event. A classic. You can't get too much closer than that.
Some great battles up front. Marcus vs Loeb, Atko vs Jari, Petter vs Sordo.

Also really impressed with PWRC. Those guys were charging... Juho Hanninen, Richard Mason, Armindo Araujo, Toshi Arai. Pity Patrik Flodin and young Kiwi Hayden Paddon had car problems, they seemed to be on the pace as well. Pozzo also looked impressive.

I wonder if that's the last we see of the Mitsubishi Lancer WRC?
Watched some of the Eye in the Sky, some amazing pics coming out of there. Made me quite proud of our countryside, it looked stunning from those chopper shots. Pity the feed kept stopping.

I'll start editing my Day One video soon. Will let you know.

Our countryside is awesome, doesn't look awesome,it really is!

Many great WRC shots have been taken out on Ranglan's Whaanga Coast stage. Martin Holmes loves NZ for his photography. Of course theres all the other rounds which are very beautiful as well although NZ has that little something which add's to the essence of rally.....
