Astra kit car test today
myself and my mate Mac spent the morning with Andy Fenwick, Lee and George Tindall and their spanner man plus the two lads from Tyne Tees tv Andy Kerr whos gonna sit in with Andy for the Xmas Stages.
After a few laps of the Langbaurgh track through the fog with Lee and then the Tyne Tees lads Andy give me a few laps blast round in the kit car Astra which was bloody fun and had a fun moment on the back straight in 6th doing 105 mph when Andy braked and we got round the top bend
Dave Craven popped along for a quick look before heading back to his office as he said "its warmer in there"
My thanks to Lee for inviting me, Andy for the blast round and what a decent fella Geordie is to chat with
Thanks lads and hope yas do well at Croft [:Y:]

Jammy devil! : The Astras were awesome in the BRC a few years ago and despite their age they still look (and seemingly go) very well.
When and what is the event at Croft?

Hmm. Is this the old rally car to Armin Schwartz and norwegian F2 champion Bruno Arntsen?

I`ll be at Croft tomorrow for the Christmas Stages.
It`s very wet and windy here at the moment as I`m just down the road,
but that wont put us off having a good day speccying
