    Prodrive F1

    Some months ago there were strong hints that Prodrive would announce their F1 plans at teh British Grand Prix, anyone know if this is still on course?

    From what I hear, Prodrive have alot of things sorted. They are just waiting for the FIA to give them the go ahead to become an F1 team. They cant announce anything till then.

    Does that explain why the Subaru's are pants in the WRC, far more commitment to F1 than WRC?

    Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

    Nah, Prodrive are just going through a (large) trough in the WRC. If it was the case that F1 was distracting them from other things then they wouldn't have done well at Le Mans.

    I doubt Mercedes will want JV in their team. They have already organised their own drivers to be in the team.
