Asian F3 will be the cheapest of all, I know that much, but cannot give you actual costs. Your best bet is to talk with F3 teams.

After doing a quick google search, I came across these useful sites. Take the wiki article with a grain of salt, as it is wikipedia after all.

I would like to know how much would a team charge to race in the full season, that would include: testing, damage coverage, personal training.
I want to compare the cost of the Asian, UK, Spanish, Italian, and any other national F3 series'.

    Thanks a lot,
    Fahad H

Two days ago I saw a good racing programme on the Discovery Channel called 'Speed Dynasties'. At one point, Charistian Jones (Alan Jones' adoptive son) mentioned that he would need 400,000 euros (pounds) to race a full season in Brit F3. I don't know if he was refering to the national class or the championship class though...

This is the cost mentioned in Wikipedia, but I want to know if this covers only the cost to race in the F3, or is it a total package for the driver, which would include, testing, training, damage coverage.

btw how much HP the F3 makes?

    Thanks,
    Fahad

Well, try to contact a team to get an offer from them.

Here are some British F3 teams:

At this point, Fahad, you're asking for details we do not know. You need to call the teams and find out for yourself. Do a bit of research.

    Thanks a lot guys,

I contacted some of the teams, it seams the cost of racing in Spain is double the cost in the Asian series, and the British is double the Spanish, in conclusion the British is 4 time the cost of the Asian

So the Asian is better choice, it's an international series, it's growing with more European drivers interested in it.

    thanks and happy holidays.

You have to remember the British/European Series are very prestigious series, If F1 is your ambition it helps to be racing in Europe,

Is Asian F3 better because it’s cheaper? Do they have a good TV deal? Do your sponsors have a presence in Asia (are they moving into that market?) and I would imagine you would have to pay for damage or pay for insurance.

Asian and especially Japanese series can be very good stepping stones though, if you're good you can actually get a seat for free like Marko Asmer in Jap F3* and could end up with a pro sportscar ride. At least this is what I've read here and there.

*Asmer has raced in British F3 for two years before going to Japan.
