Thumbs up Antony Warmbold leaves WRC

German rally driver Antony Warmbold has decided to leave WRC. He said he ran out of money in his own pocket. He revealed that he talked to each WRC team, but nobody offered him a drive. Antony will miss rallying, but he will now concentrate on his new job in United Nations and Red Cross.

Not until he finds a sponsor, which is nearly impossible these days, as you know. So 'never' is very possible.

Ok some drivers are leaving WRC but let's keep in mind that some others are coming in!

The very talented Aava for example will probably drive a wrc car soon (I hope).

It's not the end of WRC if Warmbold is no more involved.

He was a nice guy when I met him in 2004 Rally Aus! very tall like me. Shame that he isn't rallying anymore. Havn't heard his name around for a long time! Best of luck to him. Shame.

Why all these threads for drivers who weren't really that good?
Rule 1 of the forum, always accuse anyone who disagrees with you of bias.I would say that though.

I find it a good idea and I have respect for drivers who aren't so good.

Yes, its a shame there is not WRC rides for all nice guys, really strange that a quality driver like Warmbold cant find a seat.
