    OK...Time of Alen corrected he's 2nd overall

I'm impressed by young Swede Jimmy Joge's pace until now

I guess SS5 and its 29km long road will be the corner of the rally, the most difficult stage of the event

Alen found his speed and Novikov keeps up good pace. He is amazing kid! Others dropped quite far already

it's a shame how IRC ignores Subaru drivers just because Subaru hasn't enetered as a manufacturer. Novikov is 2nd, way ahead of Peugeot drivers, but the official page doesn't mention a word about him.

I guess it's the same story as in Safari, when Rautenbach won the rally.

    Navarra is being very slow

Only in Ypres Navarra showed a nice pace at the beginning of the rally.. after his puncture he set a more defensive pace... in Turkey he had a defensive pace too... like he did in Safari...

I don't like defensive drivers... ok, I know he is thinking on the Championship... but I don't appreciate to much...

If he come to Madeira to play defensive.. he will be behind our local driver Vitor Sá...

To be ahead of Vitor Sá.. he must have a really good pace.

Andrea Navarra is also struggling. "I don't know if it is just me or if it is being first on the road, but nothing is really coming together: the roads are not how I remember them from the recce."
Abarth used 4x4 vehicles on the recce, which give the drivers a different perspective of the road and could have contributed to the problems both Punto drivers experienced.
