    S1 Again?

In Winding Road's last issue (issue #22) you can find some illustrations based on the idea "what if today's A5 became an S1 rally car?".

A5 is a beautiful car but far too big for rally IMO.
Blessed are the woodheads since when the flood will arise they won't drown.

Jesus. Adobe have a lot to answer for by bringing Photoshop to the market! If Audi were ever to get involved with a form of motorsport like rallying again where their cars go muddy cant imagine the A5 would be top of their list for the suitable car...

With S5 rally car Audi can participate in GT class of rallying. In GT class there is a competition between Aston martin, Porsche and Nissan.

I'm well aware of that class but wouldnt rate any current Audi in the same league...although a R8 would be a great sight on the stages.

Sure almost everyone in this forum has knowladge about GT class rallying.

I classified it as a possible GT rally car due its dimensions and also its engine options.

BTW, I agree with you about R8.
