Really strange with Hyundays. Today Again only Lappi with transmission problems… for me they do something wrong only on his car. Last year was only Lappi with propshaft failures and this year only Lappi with transmission problems.

Because there’s not many fellow competitors to gain from his time loss.

Evans was beaten by Neuville a few times already before by incredible small margins, so no surprise at all. Hyundai are the winners here by point perspective, even in manufacturers championship, they are not so much behind.

I think Lappi's car after transmission failure was here just for testing/trying some things.. But look from another perspective. Neuville's car almost have no technical faults, Tanak have constantly something. Kalle doesn't even know what is techical issue, while Evans and Katsuta do have some. Tanak did difficulties also last year in Ford, while Adrien until now have none. So that means it's most depending on driver and their performance/driving, their attacking and so on. Some drivers can break the car more than others. Few years back Ogier never had any issues at all, while all others have always something. Some drivers can destroy their tires more often than others. It's like that. So think that Lappi isn't there yet of managing the car. I think only Kalle and Seb are the only ones. Maybe Neuville came closer on that this year. But it's too early to tell that. There are so many factors around that, it quite difficult to put a dot where his problems came from.

And the last one. Neuville did take advantage of new point system just like Evans did in Sweden.

Depending on his throttle/brake application he could easily be more demanding on the whole transmission system than others due to the driving style.

Minesh gets to the finish and is 20th overall. Also wins the National class of the WRC event, and is 2nd in the KNRC event.

Great effort for a small local Kenyan team with outdated machinery and doing it on a budget. They had 6 tyres left from previous years, and 6 new ones. Will need to buy new Hankooks next year no doubt…..

If it wasn't for tanak Neuville would have had the same amount of points here as rovanpera, despite being 10 minutes down in 5th place.

Although it does make the results closer by making it possible to limit the damage after a DNF, I still feel it is not the system we should have.

Even worse in manu champ. Toyota got 44 and Hyundai, in a rally where Hyundai essentially collapsed.

Interesting to note that the leading trio, Neuville , Evans and Fourmaux, have all recorded a total of 36 points on Saturday each.

    Clearly, something doesn't feel right

    Well said Adrien Fourmaux.

"I'm so so pleased. But I have to congratulate the team, there were no issues with the car all weekend. This is for them, they deserve it."

People are very quick to criticise (M-Sport) so how about some praise where it's due.

Praise is due for the first time in over a year... Nobody was quick to criticize, the Puma was just quick to fail.
