I’m sorry but this an embarrassing time from Tänak
I know the conditions were awful but only lappi was slower than him and Mikkelsen faster#8 Ott Tänak - Martin Järveoja #8

Are the top 5 drivers just too good with their pacenotes and gravel crew, that they didn't crashed?

So, 3 (I guess Taka is out) Rally1 cars out, 8 left. With this tempo we get rid of them all for lunch time

Looking at the times, it seems to be so awful that it really was a lottery and the times are hardly representative. Katsuta is decent, but not 4s a km quicker than Rovanperä, not even for a quarter of a stage.
The same can be seen in circuit racing with crazy rain sometimes, drivers which are usually within a tenth or so of each other lap seconds apart.
