Possibly also some testing was split between drivers (Kalle on softs, Elfyn on hards)? Anyway tomorrow in rain it will be softs all over.
from the live this morning: 1st run kalle soft neu hard (+1.8s)

I haven't realized how (relatively) stretched the standings already are after 2 rounds.
Rovanpera and Neuville are supposed to have an advantage with road position, they have a chance to pull away from the others. But if Neuville DNFs or scores badly while Rovanpera is on the podium, Kalle will be miles ahead everyone else with Finland and Estonia yet to come.

Really could be chaos on these stages tomorrow with the rain expected....

Evans should be the man to beat in these conditions, but he's starting very far back and maybe his confidence has taken a big hit after two stupid mistakes cost two podiums (at least). Also seemed strangely slow in shakedown.

Kalle is driving superbly well, looks so at ease and full of confidence. He has to show he has learnt from last year though and keep consistently scoring pts.

Hyundai..., well Tanak and Neuville can both deliver but still a question mark over the car. If the car is on the pace, Neuville is maybe the favourite.

Bit worried how Breen copes, Sweden was a disaster after a subdued Monte (pace wise), and pressure is on him to lead Msport. I want to see better pace as we know the car is quality, but he also has to keep it on the road.
