It was the National Manx Rally. The International Rally will be held in the summer.

    Wrong!

The name of the current event sponsor is "RBS International" (part of the Royal Bank of Scotland group) so since last year the event has carried the title RBS International Manx Rally - the word "International" coming from the name of the sponsor, not from the event. The event still runs under a National A permit.

The international rally (which takes place from 19th to 21st July this year) changed its name to "Rally Isle of Man" to make the link between the rally and the Isle of Man Tourist Board web site (visitisleofman.com) clearer as the Isle of Man government, through the tourist board, is one of the main supporters of the event.
