Thanks everyone for your input. One more question regarding the tickets to the rally - any point in ordering them via the eshop, or shall I just buy them from the gas station when in Finland? I seem to remember there may have been some discount for valentines day in previous years?

Flights will be ok for me, but we are thinking of renting a 4x4 car for our stay there. Anyone ho can help me for that.
I'm thinking of a solid 4x4, not a standard rental car from the airport.
Also looking for info on camingsite's/places.
Thanks, contact via pm is also good.

Yeah I know it is no problem to buy them on the petrol stations. I was thinking if there is any chance to buy them cheaper via the Internet. Right now they are offering "Rally Pass Gift Voucher 2020" for 80 EUR. They make it sound that it should be cheaper to order it now rather than buy it from the petrol stations...?

We will go there whit the whole family 5 persons, arriving a few days before the rally, and leaving a week after. So we where thinking of travelling around.
No 4x4 needed over there? I mean if you want to see the wild nature at its best? I know nothing about Finland, so thats why i ask.

Most of the gravel roads are easily drivable with normal cars and you can access forest paths even from tarmac parking lots. Just find out in advance where to go or ask for recommendations.

The highly anticipated return of the mighty Humalamäki stage is as rally-romantic as it can get. But as noted in the tweet linked above, it's hardly the same as in mid-80s, when the stage was last seen in 1000 Lakes itinerary.ku ois neljä pyörää ku vetäis ni ois vähän eri sekunnit kyllä pätkillä, sen mä takaan
