    It's Official Dale Jr. Leaving DEI....

    Dale Earnhardt Jr. officially will say goodbye to Dale Earnhardt Inc. on Thursday morning, Yahoo! Sports has learned.
    A highly placed source within DEI as well as additional sources familiar with the situation told Yahoo! Sports on Wednesday afternoon that both Junior and teammate will announce Thursday morning that they are leaving the DEI camp at the end of this season and will drive for Earnhardt's heretofore Busch Series operation, JR Motorsports.

    I'm going to wait until it's officially official. It seems to me that somebody said something to someone else and because it's about Joonyer...the story gets its own legs.

    dei confirmed that it was talking with robert yates racing about a possible merger and also a switch from chevrolet power plants and chassis to ford engines and chassis.

    No, it means that Dale Jr is going to be a moron & try to upgrade his Busch team/company to Cup ...

    Even with connections to Hendrick for engines & chassis, he will see how hard it is for an owner/driver in CUP.

    I think it may not actually happen ...
    it could just be a bargaining stragedy in his attempt to wrestle DEI away from Teresa ...

    If it happens people say it will be the demise of DEI ... I disagree ...
    I think DEI will survive & it will suceed but Dale Jr will learn how to really struggle ...

    its funny cause in some articles, Hendrick has said no deal has been made, but we all know how much of a liar Hendrick is
