IMHO that is part of the game.

We have night stages on basically every rally here in CZ and the night runs are not generally slower. The top drivers are regularly faster in the second night runs than in the first day runs (if it's not too dirty but than it's another reason). Maybe it's different on gravel but the night alone shall not be a reason to be slower.
