    There is very little downforce on these cars. If you want to make a difference to cornering speeds, you have to limit the suspension travel.

    Things change when you’re on gravel. Forces, grip, lateral grip etc all very different on gravel compared to ass-fault. Applying NASCAR tech to safety would not work. Ever seen nascar door bars? Such a door bar would never work for rally cars.

    So 11 secs covers 3rd to 5th. Drivers from 3 different teams so hopefully at least these guys wont just be cruising til the PS...

    Sundays stages could be awarded for extra points (but not for rally2). That would prevent from just cruising.
