    ⚡ Breaking News ⚡ Stewars decision moves Suninen into 3rd overall

    Stewards decision number 7 has given Dani Sordo a 10 second penalty for hitting haybales during SS8. Teemu Suninen is now 3rd overall

    Three way fight for final step of podium is separated by just 11.1 seconds with 51.53 km remaining. Going to be an interesting final day in Portugal

    Probably the active diff helps in this case?!? Meeke lost of traction was more due to loose surface outside of the corner by his own words IIRC.

    There is very little downforce on these cars. If you want to make a difference to cornering speeds, you have to limit the suspension travel.

    Things change when you’re on gravel. Forces, grip, lateral grip etc all very different on gravel compared to ass-fault. Applying NASCAR tech to safety would not work. Ever seen nascar door bars? Such a door bar would never work for rally cars.
