I guess the Rally Safe system in the WRC won't be based on GPS points for start and stopline like in the APRC?
Because the times have been up to 3 seconds wrong there I'm hearing.

Tracking map is handy if you are interested in actual locations of accidents. For Finnish championship GPS is very nice to use while spectating a stage and a crew is not arriving on their slot. If GPS shows it's just around the corner, I walk. Or run, actually.

I've used a similar system in Canada and the US. It doesn't replace timing but it's good to see when cars come out of service or approach a stage if you're waiting around wondering where everyone is. It can help find/detect a stopped car for spectators and even recovery crews, too.

I mean that there is nothing new in that article, everything (and I think also more) was told in lot of other articles before.

One rumor I came across is that Peugeot could replace Citroen in WRC in the near future, as Peugeot has already announced they are quitting their rally raid program.

Isn't the commitment moving from Dakar to Rallycross programme? Hence why they've dumped the Hansen family and taken the programme in-house?
