I'm sure they are just show cars. Not much point bringing a full spec 2018 machine to just sit there. At least Toyota bothered to update the aero on theirs. Citroen's we know is just a 2017 car as it came in with 2017 stickers on it.

Anybody knows yet if Elena will be up and running alongside Loeb for the WRC events they have planned after the crash in dakar and injuries sustained?

Great, at least it's tarmac (even though Japan has nice unique forest stages). The championship needs more events on the black stuff.

So far Lappi has been quite unpredictable. Portugal->Sardinia was impressive, Poland crash out very early, win Finland. After that quite invisible until Corsica this year. ( a fastest stage time...
