    Interesting...
Henning is at the startlist with a fiesta WRC now.

You are too optimistic. The important stuff are decided "behind", WRC commission is only theatre...

For sure many matters are discussed behind the formal meetings, but it’s up to the Commission to present and subject them to FIA assembly (WMSC) approval. Besides, all major WRC players are represented on the WRC Commission.

Story in Motorsport News today says that if the calendar works out in 2019 the WRC will look to launch at the Autosport Show again, but look to move to do something on a public day of the show - rather than the dedicated media day this year. A few quotes in there (Ogier, Wilson etc) acknowledging that they could have done more for the fans.

Škoda boss Hrabánek for Martin Holmes

And after that? Are you frustrated on a personal level that you cannot go to the World Rally Car level?

“I’m not frustrated. It’s, let’s say, one of the long term options for Skoda, but not with the current generation of the car.”
That in Škoda language means a lot in my opinion.

He also says that engines of Fabia R5 and Polo R5 are same and that there is a lot of same components. He mentions the reasonable difference in used vehicle platforms as well.

He also confirmed that Kopecký will not drive full WRC2.

Big shame as he was the second best driver in average results of WRC2 just behind Mikkelsen!

When do you think the earliest we could see them in the WRC? If you were to make a guess...

Clear that it's in their thinking medium to long term
