How are Leg points in ERC? 7 points for fastest driver, 6 points for 2nd?

So, Huttunen has now 106 points and from Latvia he can score maximum 39 points = 145 points in total.
Ingram has 115 points. If Huttunen leads all the way and wins in Latvia and Ingram stays second all the time, he get 18+6+6 points = 145 points in total.
Both would have 2 victories, but Huttunen would have 2x 2nd places whereas Ingram would have only one. And there is a slight chance Ingram could be the faster driver too...

And let's not forget that neither of Opel drivers is currently the championship leader. It's Mares. In theory Zawada has a chance for the title too.

And this is rallying, so anything can happen.

You need to take dropped scores into account too. Best four count, so Huttunen's best score would be 139.

OK. This plays in favour of Huttunen, but still - first they need to race. Great battle until the end.

Yes, your calculations are right. Standings for all classifications have just been updated on the official website:

Looks like it's the same for Ingram.

But it could well be as complicated as the scoring was on the last round of the BRC this year...that was mind-boggling.

Best just to wait and see.

Good decision! In the meantime Jari Huttunen tries to understand why he was slower and he can't :

It is easy. There were faster juniors than him... To say the truth, he was not so superb on Barum and also Rome.
