The thing I start to wonder about McLaren is how much worse should things get before the sponsors and investors start fleeing them effectively turning this struggling team into another "Williams". Just notice how much money McLaren is going to start losing after this season from the TV rights fund which distributes money based on recent points performance. We're talking about tens of millions. If this continues, they're going to stop hiring drivers like Alonso, and start hiring pay-drivers like Maldonado, because Perez wouldn't drive for them.

I'm not sure what is most embarrassing for Honda, their star driver retiring the car because it is effectively going backwards.. or that it had a technical problem.

Is there still no hint as to where their breakthrough is going to come from?
The emergence of the new 'Rainmaster' - Mad Max at Interlagos 2016!

Apart from the fact that it sucks, obviously.

Indeed. And if the performance gap was this big at Spa, what's it going to be like at Monza next weekend? Could be really embarrassing.
