    No!

It was his podium to lose but to be honest I'd rather he crashed out than settled for a 14 second gap at the end. Commitment till the end... Next year is his year

Alright. I'm no regular here. But I'm watching the live coverage. Wouldn't he look like a fool by the team for not assuring a 2nd place?

Definitely. But it's the final rally of the year, the final stage, points don't matter and the win was basically out of his grasp. His only mistake of the year came at the best possible time, and for me I'd rather he went out with a bang than concede defeat.

Honestly though I'm more disappointed than I thought I'd be. I'd have liked to see him on the podium

When Neuville was being interviewed? He was like: "I'll be at your spot next year" (winning that is) Hopefully Paddon will get himself sorted next year.

Even on a dud weekend. Ogier can still get a win of sorts.

That's what makes him number 1 for the past 5 seasons, hopefully he'll be again the man to beat in 2018
Although after seeing Tanak's face @ the stage end, I thought to myself he's probably so disappointed to leave M-Sport now that Ford will comeback imho.
