The first stage today had to be stopped for the State field as one of the State competitors in a Mitsubishi Galant VR4 landed upside down in a creek. Lucky there were some locals there to turn the car upright so the crew didn't drown.

is it in the regs now you cant drive road section with flat tyre? previously drivers would have tried anything to get back to service

Aside from the regulations there is the little matter of compliance with the Traffic Regulations of the host country
