It's probably last season for Kris aswell. And Citroen too if he don't bring some decent points home. So he better stay on road than on the side.

As the great Reggie Jackson once said
Fans don't boo nobodies.
And neuville is just that, if he failed to win the easiest title that was given to him last year through the efforts of hyundai i do not see how he can do it this year no that the others caught up... so why bother.

Great rally. Toyota boys in good position especially if they can hold current positions before going into Sweden where they should do well.
Tanak most impressive for me. Citroen and Hyundais also good, but I think a bit of bad luck and minor issues for these teams. As always, Monte leaves us scratching our heads.
Ogier knows this rally well. My contact at Toyota said they are all ecstatic about the team. Tommi told everyone it would be nearly impossible to beat Ogier in Monte, but he did not think Tanak would be so close. JML has changed a few setting which better suite him and he is now putting down good times. Lappi has surprised everyone. Apparently he did an extensive tarmac school in Italy before this rally along with a lot of carting to bring up his Tarmac skills.Last edited by racerx1979; 27th January 2018 at 16:50.

Meeke as said earlier should make do with what he's got, I mean, I think he knows by now the car is still nowhere near it's competitors pace once it's not a proper dry road, so still a lot of work to be done on the C3. Also too me he seems like a broken man during the interviews, or a man that knows that it's Citroën's last season in the WRC.... As for Neuville, as N.O.T said before me, will be hard for Neuville to get the title this year. I do expect that Mikkelsen might be able to challenge if he continues to show the pace he showed end of last year and finishes rallies with out the issues. Bravo for Tanak and EP, don't think a lot of people expected that kind of pace from them right from the off.
Only you know your true potential.

The coverage is getting better bit by bit so that's good.
Tanak is impressive on his first rally with the new car. Meeke does seem upset about something, I got the feeling he blames the car for being slow.
