Ostberg struggling with the car, his first rally in the C3 and the conditions, yet he is running 3rd. World Champion, 3x Sweden winner Ogier in 11th. Says it all about road position.

Mads moaning about having to fight the car, Breen a bit quicker this afternoon it seems. Top 4/5 so close

Breen and Ostberg both looking very strong, although Paddon looks to have his mojo back

Neuville is going to ruin the likes Mikkelsen, Mads, Breen, Paddon etc tomorrow I fear. He's on their pace starting further forward today, it could be a demolition tomorrow with reversed road order (unless he bins it)

Same stage, same stagecommander, so ploughing should be on whole stage. Just ask organizer.

However late snowfall is not easy to handle, depending on when orders given to start ploughing.

No problems in local rallies if you have some snow. We just saying "first cars ploughing". And that is done by the highest ranked drivers.

Obviously the difference on the last 6km (Swedish) of Rojden is one issue. But why is it considered automatic by Ogier etc. that organizers should plough after overnight snow I wonder.

As mentioned it didn't exactly happen on Monte either.

Ogier, Tanak and Latvala were always going to have a hard time but I'm pretty disappointed with Evans. He has a similar ideal road position to Neuville and Lappi. The only hope for an M-Sport podium rest on young Teemu now.
