This is different case because said oil pump in both Fiesta and Fabia is a part taken from stock production. The issue is that while the stock product was changed/replaced in production the homologation papers were not updated as they shall have been. The steward's decision is corresponding with previous similar cases (all DS3 R3T in JERC two years back with similar issue etc.). This is rather complicated issue with R5 cars because the stock parts can come from whatever supplier in the market. For example imagine that You can have Ford R5 car with an internal part from BMW. BMW can modify the part whenever they want for whatever reason but it's M-Sport who has to update homologation papers of the R5.

Brynildsen's case was use of brake calipers from completely different car (although it was primarily a mistake of Brembo and afterwards also of Škoda when a wrong delivery got to the end-user).

Anyone know how fast the WRC cars will have been going when on the rev limiters during RallyGB? (I guess they will all have slightly different top speeds). I have told some mates 130mph (possibly slightly faster) and they don't believe it.

Depends which gear ratios they use top speed is approximately 190-200 km/h (118-125 mph). Correct me if I'm wrong.

Never seen it that high, usually it's 195kph about 120mph, just checked Evans on a stretch on Hafren and saw 185kph

130 mph (210 km/h) is for sure plausible for speed on rpm limiter.

For comparison 121 mph (195 km/h) is top speed of Fabia R5 on rpm limiter.
