I heard that there were no conflicts during the recce. The people blocking the road let rally cars pass without creating any sort of drama.

I did today my recce to ss15 and 16 with my 1year old boy and wife.
Ss15 Starting from 1km before first trafic circle quite and good scenery. After circle to first village is very narrow and technical section.
Asfalt is smooth and good all in the stage.
Ss16 santa marina (also power stage 19) from start the asfalt is much roughier and maybe slippery. Before first village there is downhill with a couple of bumpy braking points before junctions. I loved especially one of them.
Also in middle point the is perhaps 2km view at stage at hills. Very good one but perhaps hard to get there....
We will see.
Tomorrow sd and maybe service park. I do not know if i'm not spectating the friday stages.Sääli on sairautta! ;)

Harri, I don't know how it's specifically with Spanish asphalt but here in CZ old rough asphalt always has better grip than the new smooth one.

OK, it can be like that. I thought You based the assumption on the fact that it was rough and old

The narrow part after the start on SS16/19 should have good grip I think, it's well-known from SS Pratdip last years, great section. In general the tarmac in Catalunya is great and has good consistent grip if it's dry, apart from the very few places where gravel/dirt is thrown onto the road.
