So 3rd run in and discounting Meeke (why wouldn't you!) it's the Champ and his shotgun at the top. I must review the crystal ball thread tomorrow but I don't see Neuville beating Ogier this weekend and if he retires it could be all over (for all practical purposes). Haven't seen any action from shakedown but the descriptions lead me to believe that M-Sport have the right set up for the gravel day.

The Hyundai’s started strong, but it seems their pace is off in the later rounds. It’s only shakedown and many things can change. Tomorrow will answer many questions.

And the shakedown results are here even more misleading than usually since they are now running on gravel spec but most of the rally is run on tarmac spec.

But, assuming Meeke did well on gravel spec, I expect him to do a good result as he probably does well on tarmac.

Note: They were using gravel tyres and suspension at shakedown. Road was partly gravel and partly tarmac, so only 1 shakedown, not separate tarmac one.

Enjoyable morning at the shakedown. Bit more stricter security than other years, but still doable haha!
