As usually great videos from Tatra Buggyra, unfortunately without subtitles but some nice footage inside including nice onboard shots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjRDT_Cwzpw

Main points: Kolomý praised the stage as absolutely beautiful but small time lost with navigation and one short stop in the sand. Kalina (our co-driving legend, currently in truck with Šoltys) said their truck was stuck when it had to pass another crashed car and truck behind jump (the footage is on the video).

By the way Loprais who won the stage is on his own again this year.

is the timing ok at official site?
Sainz +13 min slower at stage 2,while at general standings + 5min 35 sec?
while the stage was live and had finished 4-5 cars De Villers was showing as faster, like he was 7 min faster from last wp to finish..Did anybody noticed something like that?

edit see comments from official site

09:30 Peterhansel falls behind De Villiers
After fighting with Cyril Despres for the stage win, Stéphane Peterhansel ran out of steam in the last few kilometres. The defending champion was even slightly slower than Giniel De Villiers at the finish.

Kamaz with a stage victory for Nikolaev but other three trucks all in problems. Not a good start for them but they always shine in the second half of the event (but nearly 3 hours lost for two of them is quite a lot already).

Any coverage other than redbull.tv? Their coverage of the first day had maybe 20s of random vehicles in the sand and the rest 10+ mins of fluff. From what I've seen redbull.tv is for people with really short attention spans. Maybe you need to drink a 6 pack of red bull before watching?
