Who except Eightgear would bet on Peugeot before the start? It was supposed that Hyundai may steal the victory from Škoda after seven years of the Green hegemony but in the end the underdog celebrates. Great rally!

I'll say one thing for the Peugeot, it's always sounded the best of the R5's.

Keith Cronin, Ypres Rally winner, said:
“It’s fantastic to finally get a win this season. The stage times were good on Friday and today was a different rally, we had to control the pace from the front. Ypres is a great event, the atmosphere and fans make it a special place, it was right for the BRC to come here.”

Was gone all day... Just came back.

I think it is fair to say that this is likely the last big rally the poor 208 will ever win...

Not just Peugeot but also Abbring.. this time it was his Hyundai ex-teammate who crashed.

Good to see Bouffier back on form too.
