Time for my unlikely predictions!
If Latvala manages to win in Argentina and Ogier ends up fourth he'll lead the championship again, sans powerstage points. Alternatively, Latvala could just place higher than Ogier, stay second, and leave a small gap of, at most, eight points, to force Ogier to sweep the roads in Portugal.

Tyre compound
Actually it makes quite diffucult to compare cars to last year in asphalt cause they changed totally tire compound this year. Compound is much harder and dont give grip like 2016
QUOTE=Rally Power;1133644]SS9 can't be compared because last year it was wet. SS2, SS4 and Power Stage had similar conditions and ’17 cars were faster between .6 (.59 Meeke on both first day stages) and almost .7 (.67 Latvala today at PS) per km than ’16 cars. Honestly I was expecting them to be over 1s/km by know, but somehow it’s positive that they aren’t so fast. Btw, today time clearly shows that Latvala was really flying![/QUOTE]

In all this, Latvala has had his most consistent start of the year from the beginning of his career.
4 rallys without mistakes. Pretty impressive from him. And also Yaris, with the exception of the brakes in Mexico has been reliable from the beginning. The same can't be said for Fiestas and Citroens.
This championship is very difficult to read and understand. You see drivers keeping 20 seconds in a stage and winning the next, cars performing bad in the morning and being the best in the evening. It's not easy to comes to solid conclusions. I like it.
