So far on videos I see that Citroens are incredibly fast on corners. So here good settings of central diff is more valuable than hp or torque

For sure not all cars are assembles on factory level.
Actually, Peugeot Academy/Sainteloc cars were directly built by PS and they are amongst the most unreliable 208’s ever. The car was released with major faults and the Evo kit, that supposedly was designed to solve them, added some few more! Let’s hope the new Evo2 is the right step to put the car on a higher level.

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see this posted in here. Hänninens crash, really violent. I'm surprised the car was still relatively intact after that.

Matton interview tonight saying they have made a big step in testing and are not now using anything learned from their previous cars.

Everything is new for the C3 and he believes they are still only at 70-80% of the cars potential.

Torque is out of corner, off the line pushing force. I'm sure center diff being looser on Citroens makes them more nimble in the corners and less understeery which on these twisty roads does make a difference. But Hyundais didn't seem as understeery as Toyotas so I'll stick to my assumption of torque being the difference. Especially since on fairly twisty mexican gravel with a totally different center diff setup Meeke was also faster
It must be the torque out of corners that makes the difference.

EDIT: Would be nice to see a video comparison of out of corner speed.

Yes, I remember watching some of those ERC highlights. Both Craig Breen and Kevin Abbring were quite fast in the Peugeot Academy 208s during the first round of stages (especially Abbring), but their cars' abysmal reliability let them down constantly.
His brawling style earned him a reputation as the meanest man in boxing. He is said to have knocked out a woman ... and a horse ... EACH, with one punch.

If you don't have a straight ahead - torque is not make big difference.
