While I much prefer more stages to long marathon rallies such as this, I feel it's important to have at least one event like Corsica. It's a traditional part of the WRC. To be fair though, the last two Tour de Corses have passed me by really quickly and without as much excitement as every other rally.

I'm happy to have some proper long stages instead of a bunch of repeated 10km sprints.
I'm often more interested in the results of one longer stage where you can see bigger differences between drivers than repeated short runs with only a few seconds separating them.
More stages is good too of course, but not if it means making them too short and using the same roads over and over again.

so, an hour left...anyone wanna bet on which stage Tänak's car starts to strike again? or how many times Ogier will get lucky again with spins and touching walls? What drama we will have on power stage?

I love this rally and I love Corsica (been there twice). And I see it like there are 4 potential winners. Ogier is the favorite no doubt, but tarmac specialist Meeke, Sordo and Neuville are diffinitaly in the game. Bring it on!

Stages on Corsica are too long and too difficult to bring some tight results. I expect massive differences between the drivers.

For me it sound reasonable to remove Hybrid from the car in terms of cost saving. If I am not mistaken, one unit is ca 15% of the total car cost. And in most of the rallies, more than one unit is...
