Just watched the OB of Latvala and the dust from Ostberg wasnt very bad. Maybe two places it looked a bit thick but it wasnt like he was following directly behind Mads. It was distracting but not enough to get any time back from the Stewards I think..

"This can't be true". That's what he says often indeed.

I also love it that Lappi/Ferm are using the same note as Mäkinen/Harjanne did, "pirun pitkä" which is used for a very long corner, but it's directly translated as "damn long"

To be fair to him, if the delay situation when Neuville got time back had never happened, Latvala wouldn't be making an issue of it on this rally. Unfortunately a precedent has been set.

Do Lappi and Hanninen use descriptive pacenotes or numeric ones? I know Latvala uses 1-7(6?) pacenotes from least to sharpest.

Now that we're at it, what system do other drivers use? Any oddities?

Interesting find! Has Tommi made those notes for him now or is it something they've always had?

If I remember right both Hänninen and Lappi use numeric pacenotes but frankly I feel too lazy now to watch some onboards...

I can count to five, say hello and thank You and few other things. I think that it is enough for this task. Don't You think?
