One has to take in mind that this is a "slow" rally which make some of the drivers further down the line seem "fast". However when going flat out in 6th gear there are fewer guys in the top position timewise.

Assuming Mikkelsen is going to have a future with Citroen he needed to have as much seat time as possible in the C3. He could not afford to have an accident and lose the chance to learn the car. This is why he takes no chances and is slow here.

Hanninen just binned it, the speed was just 5km/h for a long time, moving now
