Why is Neuville starting behind Ogier, because the last stage was a SSS and not a SS? so the spin doesn't count for Ogier standing wise for tomorrow that is?

6th place, 25s behind Lappi in his first WRC tarmac event before Lappi crashed.
Would have been some 40s behind Latvala without Latvala's technical issues.

He did a bit better than expected, but good enough for what again exactly? Place in the factory team with probably highest or second-highest budget? Not for me.

If Mikkelsen continues to show this pace, we might just see a fight for him between Citroen & Toyota.

May be You're right, last stage was super special(stupid), but I don't know if the length nearly 10km counts for the start order.

Anyhow, shame for Neuviile, and shame that the rally is so short, what were they thinking making it only 306 competitive kilometers??

Yeah, I'm not in love with the itinerary either, but at least the weather provides some challenges ahead.

Because tomorrow the order reverts to the reverse of the current rally standings, with lowest placed running first. Neuville is now ahead of Ogier overall so will be behind him on the road.

Thank the weather, hopefully next year they'll bring back some stages like: Ruwertal/Fell, Dhrontal, Moselland, Moselwein, Bosenberg, Peterberg, Stein & Wein.
