Power Stage will be interesting but i'm mostly psyched about the fight between Evans and Neuville. Evans should be able to keep Neuville behind with his car fully fixed judging by the previous days but you never know. Either might lose their nerves and have a moment if they both push a lot. Evans should be more free to go hard since M-Sport look like they will have two cars on the podium anyway.

Narrow twisty stages have been dominated by Hyundai this year. I expect them on top of the power stage. Evans result will depend on the tires more than ever.

We don’t know how much Ogier would cost to Citroen and I wouldn’t be surprised to know that Citroen’s budget is the lowest of all WRC teams (including MSport; I know you won’t agree Eddie…). During ’16 Matton said several times he was interested in Neuville and in same occasions the Belgium didn’t look happy on the Korean team: why didn’t Matton catch him? Probably he wasn’t able to match Hyundai numbers and, most likely, the same happened with Ogier.
We also don’t know if Mikkelsen wouldn’t crash at the wheel of the C3 if, like Meeke is, he was fighting with main rivals for victory. It may sound basic or stupid, but I see the new cars as wild horses: they need to be properly tamed in order to deliver their full potential. Who knows, maybe the C3 is the one with largest potential and the hardest to tame…either way, we shouldn't be too harsh on the rider for trying the best he knows!Last edited by Rally Power; 30th April 2017 at 13:25.
