Don't see any reason for it. He was 5-6 in passes 2-3 with Hyundais being clearly fastest.
Looking on Shakedown times 1st pass often doesn't mean that much cause some drivers just try to check out the stage not risking anything, similarly passes over 3rd are imo very biased by knowing every single corner and taking more daring lines than you would not take in a stage.

Judging by reliability so far, I'm guessing Toyota will benefit from the fall of at least one Fiesta and one C3.
