I was about to answer this post, when I noticed who was posting it. No need to do anything else.

Are you planning to keep Trump until next year?

That's the real question..all these geniuses cussing mexico --Mexican rally officials--who I understand hire in a bunch of Frenchies...but whatever they cook up---including the idiotic idea of a Plaza de Mexico Stupor Special--must be approved and blessed by FIA..

The whole gawddam sport has been turned around in so many ways all for one thing: entertain the uninterested, un-engaged consumer.
So this is nothing unusual in that point of view..

A made for TV mentality. Could have done this with CGI... Because all that was important was the background of Plaza de Mexico...and the crowds..

WRC TV fawks with the speed of the cars, they could do this on site where the stages are and just generate a appropriate background--and sounds.

    That's all that counts anymore.

Really feel for the local fans who have this one chance to see WRC cars in the flesh, have taken a day off work, gotten up early and trekked into the hills to watch a couple of passes of only 20 cars and are now only going to see half as much because of this farce.

We can be annoyed about not being able to follow the sport on timing screens and via radio, but those are the guys we should have the most empathy for IMO.

8 SSS' in a single rally also seems ridiculous.
