    Driver of the Race

Max Verstappen - some of the best driving I have ever seen. The Red Bull is amazing, but still, fucking brilliant!

    Also, Hulkenberg.

    Max,... who else?

What we saw today was the future of F1, and it's in good hands.
Defend mediocrity... because excelence is just too hard to achieve. :p

Max Verstappen was stand out of the race. Made the rest look silly especially Ricciardo and Vettel.

Hamilton done a good job. Was 20 seconds clear of Rosberg before the SC. Could do no more.

Perez, Sainz, Hulkenberg and Nasr did good jobs too.

Ocon deserves a mention. No points but a sterling drive.

Massa gets a mention for moment of the season.
I still exist and still find the forum occasionally. Busy busy

I think we should be discussing who is our second choice, because I think we're all going to agree on the first prize going to Max.

If I have to single anyone out, it'd probably be Hamilton, who managed to keep his nerve under treacherous conditions. Pérez, Sainz, Hülkenberg, Nasr and Ocon were awesome, and Alonso had a nice recovery as well. Lastly, Rosberg might have looked lame, but he's done exactly what he had to do - keep the car on the black stuff and reap the points. It's unsurprising that he didn't want to take any risks whatsoever.

I think it's a case of who is the Max of the race! The best talent since Schumacher! He is something else! That was just a driver on another planet today! At 19 to be able to do that - WOW!

He's beginning to show up Ricciardo and put him in the shade. You can see his qualifying and everything is coming along in a big way. He walks with the greats!

I'm not even going to mention another driver because only Max deserves to be mentioned as DOTD today as far as I'm concerned

Great efforts from a lot of drivers today. I'm going to pick Nasr though. Max showed something pretty special, but Felipe Nasr might just have secured the whole future of his team. Sadly their gain is Manor's loss, despite an impressive drive by the novice Ocon.

Hamilton, he's been awesome this year. He may not end up with the championship but he's been by far the best driver this year. He's been a pleasure to watch.

Nice to see Max as a regular podium finisher this year, he'll definitely be champion at some point.

I wouldn't say Hamilton was as strong this year as he was last year given his starts but he has been the better driver of the two Mercedes boys. People don't realize actually that were it not for Malaysia blow up alone he would be crowned champion already now. Rosberg has had a near perfect year reliability wise.

Realistically, barring reliability, the championship is Rosberg's and he probably deserves on championship. However, he has had the luck of the draw this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if it happens next year!
