Romain Dumas and his Porsche are going to compete in FIA RGT Cup, which means they is going to be present in two ERC events - Barum Rally (August 25-27) and Rally di Roma (September 16-17).

In hindsight it looks like a stupid decision by Ypres to divorce from ERC just as it is getting good again, but I suppose they didn't know this when they made the decision.

Penasse hopes to get 40 R5 crews at the start even without ERC..

In my opinion 40 pcs R5 is too much, but maybe I am wrong. I did very short counting about Barum Czech rally and if all the Polish ERC guys would come (sometimes they skip it (and not only polish guys) because it is quite difficult to score the points here) we would have around 32-34pcs R5 and cca 4-5 pcs S2000 cars which is the most optimistic foresee. Realistic middle is 30 x R5 and 3x S2000 (plus 3x WRC at the end of the field. ) for Barum Czech rally Zlin. IMHO it should be +- same for Ypres.

It is possible in Ypres because there is also British championship.

They expect 20 Belgian R5's that's achievable I think. Tielt has 11 R5's on the list, Demaerschalk not there also no Dilley. Those 2 will be present in Ypres, the first one sure the second almost. Then some one shot's like Duquesne, Delplace, De Mevius, Casier (mainly TER) etc. (not really a one shot but will do WRC2 mostly). And 20 foreign ones, (around 10 - 12 of BRC, 3-5 TER, 3-5 other like maybe Michel, Bouffier, Lefebvre). It's all possible.. My target is 30-40 they will get eventually.
